Finfrock slab/truss system keeps scores more student housing

A 700-bed, $148 million residence hall at Florida A&M University is the latest project on the DualDeck Building System roster of Finfrock, an Orlando-based precast/prestressed producer and design/build contractor. Upon delivery of the two new buildings in 2020, the company will have completed seven student housing buildings using the patented system, consisting of steel truss-linked top and bottom precast concrete sections functioning as floors and ceilings in multi-story construction.
